Urgent and Emergency Services

The COVE is here for you and your pet when you can’t get in to see your primary care veterinarian or during emergency situations.

We provide care for patients with less serious conditions and for patients suffering from life-threatening emergencies or those patients who require hospitalization or more advanced surgical care.

Our Emergency team does not provide routine vaccinations, grooming, boarding, spay/neuter or wellness services. These are provided and managed by your primary care veterinarian.

Eye emergencies (squinting, redness or discharge, trauma)

Traumatic injuries; fractures, bite wounds, burns, lacerations and motor vehicle accidents

Wound Management
Provide blood component therapy and anticoagulation monitoring
Provide post-surgical Critical Care monitoring and support
Treat life threatening neurologic disorders (loss of balance, seizures, circling behavior)
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Treatment of Congestive Heart Failure
Continuous Cardiac monitoring (EKG)
Provide advanced Fluid Therapy
Treatment of toxicities
