Their expertise doesn't stop there—they also offer real-time guidance on specific cases, studies, or techniques, ensuring that we are always performing the best possible scans. When imaging results raise additional questions, referring DVMs can request a Case Review with our Internal Medicine Specialists. By submitting the full case details, including imaging findings, lab work, and patient history, they receive a comprehensive review and personalized recommendations for further diagnostics and treatment. This thoughtful, case-specific approach ensures that every detail is considered, empowering the referring DVM with clear guidance to confidently navigate the next steps in patient care.

At The COVE, we prioritize strong partnerships with the entire pet care team to provide seamless and efficient service. Whether a client comes to us directly or through a referral, we immediately engage with primary and referring DVMs to gather patient history, lab results, and all relevant details to ensure everyone is on the same page.

After completing the imaging study, our Radiologists interpret the findings, and the finalized report is promptly shared with the care team. Additionally, our relationships with local specialists, such as mobile surgeons and specialists at nearby specialty hospitals, allow us to provide veterinary teams with informed recommendations for next steps after imaging at The COVE.

This ensures continuity of care and helps guide pet owners toward the best possible treatment options. This cooperative approach ensures patients benefit from timely, well-coordinated, and comprehensive care.

• Once the imaging is complete, we’ll send the Radiologist Report directly to the referring veterinarian.
• Please be sure to reach out to the pet owner directly to review the CT results and discuss the next steps in their pet’s treatment plan.

At The COVE, we are dedicated to making advanced imaging accessible and are pleased to offer the affordable pricing listed below. All imaging services are billed directly to the pet owner. We provide detailed estimates and will only exceed the quoted price in emergencies or when additional diagnostics are requested.

Our CT services include the CT scan, administration of sedatives/anesthesia, patient monitoring and comfort, and the scan interpretation by a Board-Certified Radiologist.

We accept cash, checks, Care Credit, and major credit cards. Please note there is a 3% fee when using a credit card.
